Australian Shepherd Health & Genetics Institute

Unfortunately, cancer strikes way too often in dogs as it does in humans.
Cancer causes unbearable loss of our cherished companions.
ASHGI is doing something about cancer in the Australian Shepherd.
Please contribute in any way that you can.

Our hearts & prayers go out to the Raffler family on your untimely loss of your beloved companion, Newman.
Newman fought valiantly against lymphoma which too often takes it's toll in our breed.

Thornapple Angel In My Arms "Leah"
We are so very sorry for your loss of Leah to cancer at 10 years young.
Angel was truly God's Angel in your arms. She will remain in our hearts forever.

October 21, 2007 * Thank you so much for talking to me today!  It brought me great joy to speak to the people who made Leah
possible to me. She meant the world to our family and we are devastated at her loss.  I doubt I would even consider purchasing
another from someone else after my experiences with Leah, talking to you, and seeing your website. It is truly obvious of your love
and devotion to the breed! Here are a couple pictures of my “baby”.  She was absolutely 1 in a million!!!! I can honestly say she
changed our lives forever! Sincerely, Tim Havice

Please consider a donation to ASHGI to further cancer research.
