Armstrong with Claudine and truffles!

We just took a photo of silly Miss Bliss this morning. We were working indoors, preparing for our holiday. The dogs were outside, it’s warm and sunny here. When we came downstairs wediscovered miss Bliss had found herself a new spot……LOL Bianca

Betsy sent these beautiful photos of Rain doing agility!

Photos from Bitta & Steffen in Denmark. This is their dog Fellow working sheep. He is a son of Thornapple Mandarin Passion & Ch Thornapple Oh Brother ...owned by Anna-Lena & Niklas Munkvall in Sweden.

Kai at Horseshoe Falls!

SSG Greg Reedy has arrived in Afghanistan for his year long tour (start counting, 364 days to go:). As soon as he reaches his final destination he'll send me his mailing address. Some of you wanted to send him a note and that's wonderful. He'll really appreciate the thoughts from home. In case anyone would like to e-mail him: gregory.reedy@us.army.mil. Please keep him in your thoughts for a safe mission and a safe, speedy return. Thanks, Chris

Michigan Aussie Rescue Rep, Chris Reedy, sends news of her husband who will be serving in Afghanistan for 12 months. Pictured is Blackhorse Mountain.

Here's a pic of Greg. Same outfit, different background<bg>. Chris

Figures, my husband travels to far off lands and encounters some very aussie-ish looking dogs. The one in the foreground (Sparky, apparently the camera hog) goes running with the men everyday. He is also the infamous hoarder of all things they drop. He has a pretty big stash of stuff in his *den*. Chris

Jake ... owned by Ami Boxer ... will be bred to Ch Thornapple Straight Up summer 2005 - UKC CH FDCH Mandolyns Shake & Jake CD CGC

Greetings from Brazil! Thornapple Family member, Dr. Henrique Schmitz with his Aussie!

Where's the party????

Why .... It's a party at Ami Boxer's house! From L-R ... Hannah (14 year old grand dam!), Jake, Chante & Riot

In the patriotic mood on the 4th of July, 2005!

How cute!!!! Miss Hanna ... 14 years old! Ami Boxer's pride & joy. What a precious girl! She is stylin'!!!!

Miss Chante and her fiance, Mr. Jake! What a handsome couple! They are dressed to the 9's for the holiday celebration!

A good lookin' crew! They could do a Broadway show!

Jake has taken matters into his own paws! Since his "Mommy" will once again be a "poor" college student he thought that it would be a good idea to help support the family. So if anyone knows of a good job for a "motivated red tri aussie" let him know. He will send in his resume. Here are some shots of him "looking for a job" hahahaha Ami and Jake the "Working Man"

Part 1 - This was a Cheetah that we went to visit on the way to a dog show in Port Elizabeth, just outside Uitenhage. It is called the Daniell Cheetah Breeding Project where they breed Cheetah's and then grow them up and release them back into the wild.

Part 2 - It is the only wild cats that do not need to be taught how to hunt it is a natural instinct. This guy who runs the project is interested in getting an aussie from me to help raise the cheetah cubs.I will send a couple more of Gerhard stroking the Cheetah's too. Natasha

Thornapple Git R Done "Larry" handled by her co-owner, Maria, at the puppy match in Ohio.

Thornapple Funny Honey "Roxie" says "Make Me Beautiful, Maria!" Roxie is owned by Robert Harland and Penny Richards of England!

Roxie in puppy groups!

Damon gets a well earned vacation in the country in Sweden with his family after his big BEST IN SHOW win!

Summer Vacation for Damon!

The big BEST IN SHOW winner!!!!

Damon loves vacations!!!

Enya sneaks in too!

Enya loves to swim!

Duffy part 1 - Attached are two current pictures of Duffy. The one is at the Evanston Dog Beach. He's been 4 times and is starting to enjoy the water. The first day he ran into the water with another dog and when he realized where he was, he panicked. Bill had to carry him out of the water. Now he runs in but never deep enough where he has to swim. He seems to really enjoy playing with the other dogs.

Duffy Part 2 - The other is with our granddaugther, Madeline. They now are living with us and they are pals. Her dialog to him consists of , "Hi, Duff" or "No, no, no Duf". Of course, they often want the same toy. He is absolutely wonderful with her. She hugs him, etc. and he has NEVER gotten nasty with her. His disposition is great.

From Anna-Lena in Sweden ... This is Damon this Sunday. Isn't he gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! He's the best!!!! We love him so much!!!!! I can't express how much we love this dog for his temperament and I can't say it enough of times....

From Di in New Zealand! Attached find a photo of Zippo (being his normal clown self and taking Chelsea blanket away from her and delivering it to me.) He loves to carry things around in his mouth (your sleeve as well if he can get away with it!) and yesterday at the show he took his lead in his mouth and marched me down to the ring. It had everyone in stitches.

Puppies sired by Ch Thornapple Oh Brother in Finland!

Bitta & Steffen and Steffen's dad visited Amy and family in July. They sent this wonderful photo after they returned to Denmark!

Bandit Part 1 - Bandit is doing wonderfully! As I am writing this he is lying at my feet. I know I always tell you what a great boy he is, I hope you don't get tired of it. He is simply the best puppy in the world. He is a treasure. He is my helper and constant companion. He also seems to grow more handsome each day.

Bandit Part 2 - I don't know how that can be possible because he was breathtaking in his first baby photo. Jonathan has been very ill. He had pneumonia. Bandit kept constant watch over him. When I would check him in the middle of the night Bandit also went with and would put his paws on the bed to check Jonathan. He and Barclay are still the best buddies.

Bandit Part 3 - It has been so hot here this summer. We go out and play early in the morning and after the sun goes down. They really like their puppy pool. They bob for toys in it. Bandit also likes to play in the sprinkler. He leaps through the air to catch the water in his mouth. It is fun to watch him play. I hope things go better with the website. I am sorry it has been so much work. Kim
