HERDING NEWS FROM
KAREN & MICHAEL WILSON!
Yesterday Michael took Bedford to an AHBA ( American Herding Breeds
Association ) herding trial. He entered him in the HRD 1 ( Herding
Ranch Dog 1 ) class. This is a class that shows the dogs working
ability in a "real" farm setting. The dog and handler must move a
large flock of sheep in and out of different fields over a bridge
through a foot bath and several other things that I've forgotten now.
Anyway, Bedford qualified and finished in third place!!!!! He already
had previously qualified at another trial so this gives Bedford a new
title. He is now officially River Winds Sgt. Rock, HT, PT, HSAs, STDc, HRD1
We just couldn't be more pleased!!!!!
