Epi is great ... as always, now a little excited as I've had some girls in season. I did his oficial hip-ray last month and he has perfect hips, I'm waiting his final score (we sent the radiographies to England to the BVA-Scheme). I let you know as soon I have the results.

No dog shows until next month but I hope to finnish Epi this year. It's snowing here at home and I just took some nice pictures of Epi, I think you would like to see him, ... handsome boy! :-) Hugs to all of you. Ana & Epi

I thought you might to see the puppet that a puppeteer in Australia made for me. I sent him pictures of Nugent. and he carved the head and painted it. He did a great job with the shape of the head as viewed from both the front and the side.

He's sending me the puppet later this week, and I can hardly wait to have it! I don't know anyone else who has an aussie puppet. I'm so lucky! Regards, Jane Gottschalk

Zippo lounging poolside in New Zealand!

I would send this picture to you that was taken at the show yesterday!!! It is of Bronwyn showing her Bearded Collie (Hannah) and of Zippo and I. Hannah got Reserve in Group and Zippo managed once again to get Intermediate of Group so not a bad day all round.

On the ferry looking back down the sounds. Stunning scenery and you can see how calm it is! Photo credit Di Falconer ... on the way to a dog show in New Zealand!

This is a photo of the seals which we stopped to see on our way down to Christchurch. This colony is right below the road we drive down so very easy to stop to get photos. photo credit Di Falconer, New Zealand

Chelsea having fun on the trampoline in the snow and ice. This was the morning after we left Auckland where we had walked the dogs the previous evening in the falling snow and the following morning it was snowing again when we walked the dogs at 6am. The dogs loved it and so did Chelsea as you can see.

Following our fellow travellers through the desert road in the falling snow. The road was closed just a few hours later due to heavy falls. All this at the end of September with a very cold snap. photo credit Di Falconer, New Zealand

Now for some news! We have a new member of the household, Nuka, who is a Murky son, that we got from Phyl Ireland. He only arrived yesterday and we are thrilled with him.

Sill a little puppy at the moment, but with luck he will grow into a big handsome boy just like Zippo and become a valuable addition to our breeding program. Still a while to wait though!

I haven't written in so long - been extremely busy. I started up a new company with a patent I had on a new product - Pet I.D., Luggage. Anyway, Lakota is doing great. He is big, strong, and happy! He is very, very affectionate and very friendly with both people and other dogs and yet is a great watch dog with a big bark. In fact, my daughter's cousin came into the house unannounced and Lakota backed him into a corner. He loves my granddaughters and does not have a mean bone in his body.

Dear Mom and Aunt Amy, We have a new baby. It is one of those silly little corgis but I don't care. It is blue like me and I have a full time job now watching every move it makes. I am doing a real good job and they know how busy they would be if I wasn't so much help. I am currently in school to learn both obedience and how to show.

We moved to our new house late last spring and it took a lot more time then everyone thought to get settled. But now my feederwalkers can come home for lunch and I have a huge fenced yard. Will see you at the shows by late spring. Hope all is well at Thornapple. Love to everyone, Cheyenne

Hello!! My namn is Linda from Sweden I have a puppy of Thornapple Mandarin Passion "Sarah" and Propwash Ponder. You have a beautyful aussies and and I am so happy for My dogs from Niklas and Anna-Lena Munkvall from Sweden.

We want wish you a Happy Valentines Day. Greetings Linda and Chivas "Easy Ain`t That A Shame"

Attached is a picture of Duffy on his first birthday with his present in his mouth. We are very happy with him ... his disposition is so pleasant. He thinks everyone wants to play with him and he's the same toward other dogs. I've never seen him growl or snarl. His feelings get hurt it another dog growls at him. And, of course, anyone new who sees him gushes how "beautiful" he is. Took him last week for grooming and when the girl came around to get him, she almost stepped back and said, "oh my God, he's gorgeous!" He's exceptional with our granddaughter who is now 21 months. They love each other. Jackie is finally not snapping at Madeline (Jackie is the elderly dachsund) any longer. Took her four months to adjust. Our son, daughter-in-law and Madeline will probably be here for another four months or so. Hope all is going well for you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Diane Niedbala

I am send you these pictures of Raven. I can't begin to tell you how much we love this dog. She is awesome. SHe will finish her tracking title in the spring and will be ready to compete with my daughter in Agility in early summer. She loves all the kids we work with and will be a therapy dog, when she is tested in a few weeks.

She is not that big but she is full of fun and spice. Loves the farm animals that we raise as well. All the 4-H kids love her to peices. Queen of our home she is. Thanks.
