Today I send you some nice fotos from Quinn after swimming with his "good friend" and favorite toy wild boar!! He loves him so much and don`t go without him....it is so cute!!!!!! There is also a photo with all the "german Thornapples" together...Quinn,Burst, Bounty, little Tofu and Neela. This weekend we have our ASCA show...crossed the fingers!!!!! L Simone

Sweet Thornapple Cuervo Gold cuddles with Chloe Afornetti. Cuervo recently passed to the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 12 years. Our sincere condolences to the Afornetti family. Welcomed into the Afornetti family as an adult dog from a not so happy first home, Cuervo was blessed to be loved by them.

It's been a long time since I've talked with you, and it pains me to send this message, but I feel the need to do so. Our dear little friend Kayla, who we received from you a little over 14 years ago was finally laid to rest earlier this week. She was a beloved family member and brought us great joy and companionship for all those years. Her loss is a difficult one, as she was such a personality and such a sweetheart.

I've lived with dogs all my life, and have been privileged to know some good ones, but Kayla was special. She trained easily and quickly, learned hand signals (which served us well when her hearing started going), was an extraordinarily good frisbee player, was friendly to everyone, was very affectionate, responsive and tuned in to whatever was going on. She was in short, a true light in our lives. When I say she will be missed, I am understating greatly. I want to thank you so much for bringing this dog into our lives. Joe Lentz

Thornapple's Lil' Ms Behavin "Sassy Sue" March 4, 1993 -- July 14, 2006, Well, here we have emptier hearts again. Sassy Sue lost her precious life to cancer today. We still remember when we picked her up from the airport so many years ago. When we first saw her we said "What a doll baby" Even at thirteen she was super cute. She had a good one, full of love and being spoiled rotten. I miss her woo woo WOOOO !!!  noise she would make when I was getting out of bed in the morning.

Thornapple Breezin' In Flair "Breeze" June 18, 1992 -- June 20, 2006 - Our hearts go out to Jeanne & Al Riddle on your loss of two beautiful girls.

Just thought you would like this pic of Roxie on Holiday in Southern Ireland. She also won a five point major while we were there. This is towards her 40 points to make her a Irish CH ... something to work on next year. She has so far this year, had a BOB, three best bitches and a five point major. Love Penny

I must mail you the news from Germany :O))) Last weekend our friend was on a ASCA Show far away from us so we are not there. She has two Quinn (Thornapple Anaken Skywalker) daughters and a full brother from Player,

the red-merle male Terence ( Moon Rise Soft Breeze) Terence won his class (6-9 month) against two new USA Imports (Outlaw and Melody) , a dog from the best Belgium breeder and a dog from one of the best breeders in France!

He was the youngest dog BUT THE BEST !! I am sooooo proud about him !! Look at his photos, he is so beautiful !!!The Quinn daughter Abby won also his class but have she lost all her coat......LOL

We hope the owner will show him next year

We are happy because all most every other opponent was either on American dog or an American blood line dog. There were 15 Aussies on the show.

The place where we were in the mountains. It was beautiful. I will send pictures. On this weekend we are going to herding contest. Hugs, Eszter and Dora

I saw, that Eszter wrote ALMOST everything ... but, she forgot to inform you, that in end of July we'd been in Austria, where Latte won CC, CACIB and finally BOB.

There were 22 Aussies from various kennels, example Energie's and Kaleidoscope. So we are very proud of her. Here is the picture with beautiful cups, and Latte in the ring.

(Yes, my clothes is the same as in Innsbruck, this is my lucky clothes in Austria;)) ). The other young boy is our new puppy, Rio, who is son of Elora Danan's Ticket to Ride and in this show become Junior Reserve BIS.

News from Denmark * August 27 * Diablo took BOB both days this week and took BIS 2 Saturday. But it is not a big BIS like in Danish kennel club ( it is more like the group ) but the best part is that he got 2 more cc’s so now he has 3 club cc’s. He only needs one more club cc and then he will have a new title “Danish club champion” ....we LOOOOOVE titles

My husband Niklas were in Norway at the big Norway winner show. There was 33 Aussies entered... Enya - CH FINV-03,NV-06 Thornapple Summer Squeeze - became BOB and Glidden - CH Thornapple Paint The Town BOS!!!! Both got new a new title, Norway winner 2006 (NV-06) and that's an official title!!!! They are also both qualified for Crufts thanks to this....

Enya!

We are back, what an amazing time we had. Jake certainly has done some special things in his life. We are so lucky to have such an amazing boy. In 48 hours he took NYC by storm. He flew like a champ and took it all in stride. We arrived at the hotel at 2:44am on the same day as the photo shoot (since our flight was delayed 3 hours due to the President being in NYC) and then we drove to the Hamptons.

I must say I will return to the Hamptons as soon as possible, it was beautiful. We saw some of the most amazing houses driving to the location. When we got to the shoot, we were in love with the house, it was right on the beach and had a pool on the second story. The house was very modern with concrete floors and cork floors. This is very much Jordan and my taste so we were so excited to see what we will get one day (fingers crossed). The Ralph Lauren people were just so nice. Everyone was for that matter. We ate great food and relaxed. It was a dream.

The photographer was as down to earth as they come. He has 5 Goldens himself, so he was great with Jake. Jake was used on the beach shoot. They constructed a whole set on the beach. It was beautiful.

Jake did great, he even was in a photo all by himself! (no models at all) With shoes... It was like a dream watching Bruce shoot the photos, watching the models enter the photo, it was as if you were staring at an ad in Vogue.

We could not have asked for better weather, better people, or a more amazing opportunity. The food was also amazing, lobster tails, and all kinds of salads, desserts, champagne... we were "roughing it"... Jake was part of the Lauren collection shoot - this is for Spring 2007 (so February).

He should be in RL's stores, in all stores (MACY's Bloomies, Barney's, Nordstrom, etc.) that sell Lauren, mailers, catalogue, website, and fashion magazines! I am attaching some photos we took ourselves prior to the photo shoot and some in NYC.

Riot sends (early) Birthday wishes to his brother Toby (owned by Mary Walberg)! They will be three years old on Thursday. I cannot believe how fast time has passed. Riot also wants to send kisses to his dad Damon (BIS Ch. Thornapple Oh Brother) and Lizzie (Thornapple Lizzie McGuire).

Riot is very excited that he is getting a "Barbie bone" dog squeaky toy for his birthday. He has been eyeing Chante's for months now! * he also says, he knows what you are thinking, Barbie bone for a boy dog? And he says boys can play with Barbies if they want to! ;) Happy Birthday Riot!

Ami & Jordan share photos from their wedding album!

And it's a NEW ADDITION for Betsy! Cloud makes his arrival in an October North Dakota snowstorm. Rain checks out his new little Buddy, Thornapple Diamond InThe Clouds!

Cloud is sired by Ch Thornapple King Of Diamonds. His mommy is Ch Thornapple Russian ToA Party. Congratulations on your new baby, Betsy!

Attached are some pictures of Cloud's first day in ND.  Retrieving already!!!!  He is greeting Rain and having a good old time in the snow.  Look at the mouthful of grass he dug up and has in his mouth.

He needed a salad LOL after that airplane trip.  The last ones are at my winter training building. Look at that little guy retrieve and run. He is settling in pretty good and has decide all his vocal comments do not get him very far:))))) Later, Betsy

I was out training the Rain Man today and Steve got some nice shots of Rain doing the Retrieve over the High Jump and his long stay out of sight exercise. Thought I would send them on. The biggest training situation

with Rain is his "waits" on the retrieves. He is a PISTOL. It is hard fathom an energetic dog when I tell my friends who usually only see the laid back perfect boy. LOL Betsy (Thornapple End Of The Rainbow CGC)

Rain received his official Therapy Vest so his new name is: Thornapple End of the Rainbow, CGC, ThD. Thought I would send on his picture since he looks so official.  Betsy

Okay, you two!!! Do I have your attention???? Kim Maloney's darling Miss Mathilde's and her partner in crime, Cooper, catching holy heck from Uncle, Riley!
