Woody turned a year old today! Kobi was nice enough to hold his present for him, although it was hard getting the bow to stay on...

I can't believe how time flies! I have been meaning to drop you a line to tell you what's been going with the boys for a while. While I wasn't looking, YEARS have gone by. I can't believe Sinjin is 8 and our little puppy Jack is 5. So much has happened to us in the last few years. Good and bad. I don't need to tell you what 9/11 has done to us New Yorkers. Both to the city as a whole and to us personally.

We have been through quite a journey, which for us involved a move to Florida (We all hated it there. The mosquito's tormented Sinjin so much, he couldn't leave the house!) and back to the NY Metropolitan area (which, like it or not, seems to be our home). Despite the bad times, the one thing that remained a constant in our lives were these two wonderful spirits. I don't think we ever adequately thanked you for bringing them into the world and into our lives. They are truly life savers and life givers.

When we were really down and began to lose hope in the world, they were always there. Wild-eyed Jack, our freckle faced kid and sensitive, serious Sinjin, always on the watch! How can you tell people what Aussies are "like" when our two (who came from the same breeder and were raised in the same way) turned out so totally different from each other? I hope you can see from the attached photos, how stunning they both are. You should be proud! I hope all is well with your family and we hope you have a great New Year. Love, Pete, Same, Sinjin and Jack

Enya & Glidden babies in Sweden!

Darling Enya & Glidden puppies!

Blush is doing AWESOME. She is the best little girl - we absolutely love her and so does everyone that meets her! She is Miss Personality Plus! Loves everything in life, loves people, loves everything we do together, loves to cuddle, and is ALWAYS happy. She has been the best and Cassie absolutely loves her as well - they LOVE to run together in the yard and play. Blush is pretty much a little wild nut and will probably give the border collies a run for their money! She has a TON of drive (you were right), and we aren't curbing it as she is so perfect for agility - we are just directing it to playing together and agility.

We, of course can't jump her as the growth plates won't be closed yet, but loves tunnels, chutes, and all of the ground work (running together). She would probably be awesome at herding too - anything that involves running :)! Blush passed her Canine Good Citizen test Friday night. We will definitely be getting another Thornapple Aussie when it is time to add to the family again. Blush is simply the best! We can't thank you enough for Blush and truly, wouldn't change a thing about her. So the question for you - are all of your pups this awesome? Or do some have these extra awesome personalities!Julie Schrecengost

Ola everyone, We just returned from a 1-week trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We just couldn't believe the abundance of wildlife on the islands and the beauty of Ecuador. We plan on returning someday.

Jim swam with penguins and sea lions and a sea lion even came onto our boat (the 2nd floor no-less). It was just an incredible journey. Hope everyone is well. Jim and Jo

We LOVE your photos, Joanne!

Just got in from snapping a few photos of "The Boy". He is testing out my new dogwalk and Aframe. He likes it and thinks the aframe apex is the best place to view "His Kingdom":))

I am still using wires on the weaves since he likes to play with me and pop one or two but he is still young. We are having a blast. He is a GREAT dog. Later,Betsy

I am pleased to announced Buddy earned his first flyball dog title over the weekend at a tournement in Chelsea. We are very proud of him as it was only his 2nd tournement as an official team member. He loves it and our team has many wonderful members. Pictures are coming as soon as NAFA sends the certificate but I have enclosed a picture of Buddy at our Christmas practice. Santa stopped by to help with the ball loading. Best to all, Marianne and Buddy

Thornapple Aftershock "Diablo" and Bitta work sheep in Denmark!

Diablo ... not just another pretty face!!!!

We had our Ultrasound today & I am sorry to tell Mother T. that it looks like a .........GIRL !!!!!! We cannot be 100 % positive but they could not see any " boy parts."And let me tell you, she is quite the drama queen already !! She waved & spread her hands so we could see all 5 fingers, put her hand on her head as if exasperated by the whole thing, moved her head away from the probe & WOULD NOT OPEN HER LEGS!

She always has her feet crossed at the ankles like a little lady . And boy does she kick! Stubborn too as they had me change position but she would not budge!!All looks well & Daddy is over the moon! Heidi
