Steve Seeler and Zak had a great
agility weekend in Illinois!
Steve reports:
Zaks start in agility has gone well. After a couple
weeks of showing, Zak received
his Novice Standard Title NA and a few legs toward his Novice Jumpers
Title.
All of his qualifying runs have been perfect. He runs hard and fast but not
always clean.
Once we start keeping all the bars out then look out. His name now reads
Thornapple Blue Crush NA, CL1-R, CL1-H, CL1-F. Give it a couple more weeks
and I am sure that we will be adding to that.

I just wanted to send you both an email
to tell you
how your "boys" did at their respective Herding
Instinct Certification! Both Jake and Riot displayed
wonderful sense on stock today much to our delight!
It was well worth 8 hours of driving to and from to
have the chance to see them use their most fundamental
trait. We are very proud of both boys and the numerous
compliments on their styles today. Hopefully in the
future we will be able to give them even greater
opportunities to explore herding!

Thanksgiving. It is very easy to forget how blessed America and Americans are. Living here in Sudan has reminded me of how much

granted in America. And please do not forget our troops
in Iraq, Afghanistan and other fun
places where most of you don't
even realize that we have forces in harm's way.
One of the things for which I will offer a prayer of
thanksgiving
is the large number of friends who have not forgotten Karen and I while I am

Michael is 64 years old today. He is celebrating his birthday in Sudan.
