APRIL 30 - APRIL 10
2005
We are shocked and
saddened to hear
of the passing of Joe Hartnagle.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joe's family.
We will miss your kind words, caring way
and your warm smile, Joe!
We are also very sad to hear of the loss of
local Aussie fancier, Bill Bunn.
Bill fought a brave battle with cancer trying hard not to miss
a dog show while undergoing treatment. Bill was an excellent handler and
always presented his dogs beautifully. Our hearts and prayers are with
Bills' wife,
Sylvia. Bill will be missed by all of the Michigan Aussie people!
I read what you wrote
about Bill and was very touched by your words.
Thank you so much for your moving tribute to Bill. Sylvia
We froze our booties in

From Niklas & Anna-Lena Munkvall -
Sweden:
Hi all! We have had a dog show
here in Sweden today, and
Thornapple Summer Squeese "Enya"
became BOB, BIG and BEST IN SHOW no 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our Norfolk
became
BEST IN SHOW no 3.... So both me and my husband were in
the Best In show ring! Anna-Lena
From Steve Seeler in Chicago!
Zak
(Thornapple Blue Crush) ( Enya's
brother!!!!)
has another
title to add. He got his open standard title this weekend.
He ran the course in 42 seconds. He took first out of 22 other dogs and he was
at least 4 seconds faster than the second
place dog. Actually he had the fastest time of all the open level dog at
all heights. He also added a open jumpers leg and
took a second place. His time was 25.52, the first place dog was 25.51
so it can't get much closer than that. If I would have
smoothed out the course he would have had first. He was such a good dog this
weekend. Everyone was talking about him
yesterday and there was a lot of Aussies there this weekend. Way more than
usual. So you can add an OA next to his
name now. :) He will be running in excellent at a trial in a couple of weeks
and everyone was so surprised that he has
made it there that fast.
Jewel Fuls reports in from Oregon:
PORTER was WD, BOW & BOS for a 4 pt major yesterday so that is 2 majors
and 8 points ASCA.
How was your weekend? TTYL Jewel
