Shamba took Best Of Breed wins
under Judges Mrs. Joan Zielinski & Mr. Lee Herr
at
the Sarasota shows. At the Brooksville Cluster, we cheered Shamba on to
3 Best Of Breed wins under Judges, Mr. Lester C. Mapes, Mr. Robert C. Thomas
& Mrs. Sondra Joy Esporite. Shamba was awarded Group Two placements
under
Judges, Mrs. Robert C. Thomas & Mr. P. Levi Marsman over #1 ranked breed dogs
in the Herding group.

Tuesday.

her big debut in the Junior Ring!
Shayna did an awesome job with Chante to take a 2nd place on Friday,
1st place on Saturday and 2nd place on Sunday over a large entry of 9 Novice
Juniors!

A devastating ice storm in Ohio left the Neff's beautiful trees shattered and
destroyed.
Thanks to Maria's hard hat, none of those crashing branches caused her bodily
harm!

News from Betsy and Rain:
How exciting to get to a show
with Shamba. What a marvelous dog. I wish everything great for him here in
the
good old USA. This morning Rain appeared on tv for the KFYR "Country Morning
Show". We did a talk on my
Puppy Dynamics Class and Rain was an instant hit. He was an excellent
boy!! The farm director on the show was really
taken in with Rain. I did of course put a good word in that breeding and
proper training and environment play a large part
in how a dog develops and of course Thornapple kennel was definitely
mentioned. Rain and I have also been invited to
put on a presentation for KFYR Ag Days in February. We will be doing
obedience and agility. Best Wishes to all.
Betsy & Rain p.s. cross your fingers, toes and eyes that we will do well
at Land O' Lakes.

Florida! As you
can see it feels like spring time here, we wish we had
snow. Oh well, if you can not beat em' join em'... we
are off to the beach tomorrow! Happy New Year!
