CH Thornapple Oh Brother thinks Best Bitch is pretty cute!

Bitta & Diablo, Marie & Jag, Niklas & Anna-Lena with Damon & Janis compete in the Breeder group competition.

Exciting News  from Sweden!  Ch Thornapple Oh Brother has two new titles!
Damon is now Am CH Fin Ch AmstW-05, EUW-06 Thornapple Oh Brother.  Congrats Anna-Lena & Niklas!
Finally we are home from Finland. It was a very big show called European winner show. There where dogs from all over Europe!
They also send the group final at TV... and directly on internet for all who wanted to look. It was sad that we didn't know
that before, than all of you could have seen Damon at TV ... Damon actually took two new titles. Finnish Champion
and European Winner 2006 (both are official titles)!!  He was also shortlisted in the group (it was just 7 left),
but unfortunately he didn't placed ... We had a very nice trip traveling together with Diablo's mum and dad (Bitta and Steffen).
We really enjoyed every minute, thanks Bitta and Steffen!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thornapple did also got Best breeder group in the breed ring
(it was two). In the group where Diablo, Jag, Damon and Janis.  But we didn't took them into the final ring, because just after
that Damon should be in group no 1... so we decided to not go in with them. We wanted to give Damon the best!!
Congrats Amanda to Courage big win!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!!!  Also congrats Amy to Spitty's champion title and to Miss Shayna
for being the best again!!!!!!!!! She's a darling!!!!!!!!! Tell her that it have come out a new CD from Amy Diamonds ...
I will send it to her!  If I miss anyone winning this weekend: CONGRATULATIONS to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm so tired and haven't
read all of the emails.  Love Anna-Lena

And HUGE Congrats to you, Anna-Lena!

CH Thornapple Hot Wheels "Jag"

We come home late last night from the European Dog Show in Helsinki Finland. It was a big show whit around 10.000 entries total.
28 Aussies entries. From somewhere we heard that the judge have not sleep good the last week before this show.... LOL.
Damon took BOB and a new titel and one bitch from Finland took BOS. (Anna-Lena & Niklas is not home yet but soon we will hear from them).
Jag was 3 best champion male and Diablo was 4 best Champion male. Our Jag (Thornapple Hot Wheels) and Jenny ( Thornapple Vital Flame)
son "Jake" Gun Lake Don Sebastian ( whit tail ! ) took Best junior and get a new title, we are sooo proud. And we show a wonderful
Thornapple breeder group too. We not show Katalin (Thornapple Not Guilty) because she totally have lose all her coat. That was bad
because I had really love to show her on that show, because I can not show here more in Finland because she have docked tail. I feel so sorry
for that. I had love to show her one time in Finland, that country she live in now. It was nice to meet Bitta and Diablo, it was the first time
I have meet them. A lovely pair. I hope all get a good and safe trip home. Hugs to all./ Marie E

From Bitta in Denmark!
Hi all, I just want to say congratulations to everybody ho did well this weekend!!!
I am drowning in email so I haven’t read them all ……. Sorry!!
Diablo, Steffen and I were to the European winner show in Finland. We were
traveling together with Anne-Lena and Niklas…………. Waw, we had a good time
*LOL* the time on the boat was very very funny!!! Thanks Anne-Lena and
Niklas for this friendship!!!! Remember that we need to make at hall of fame
and a hall of shame list of photo to Ellen and Amy *LOL* The hall of fame
photo is definitely Damon great win! 2 titles!!! Congratulation once again!
At the show I met Marie and Jag. It was so nice to se him in real life!
Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to sit down and talk. It was NOT
Diablo’s judge *LOL* but we sure thought that he looked very nice!!!
Love Bitta

It's a Best In Specialty for Courage Down Under!
First weekend out, Thornapple Sub Zero takes Best In Specialty Show!

It was the Australian Shepherd Club of Queensland Championship Show
and the judge was Mr. K. Kawamata (Japan). There were 55 entries.
Courage was handled by a friend of mine, Belinda Halliwell, who has a
few of my dogs and one of Linda's up in the very far north of Qld. You
would never have known Courage hadn't shown every weekend of his life
as he worked brilliantly for her after only meeting her the morning of
the show and with no practice at all.

It was a great day. The judge didn't speak a word of English so
unfortunately there were no critiques or comments given out, though he
did love to speak to me, even
though I couldn't understand a word of it despite many years of
Japanese at high school.

One girl that caught my eye was Phyl's Sherri, it was the first time
I'd seen her, possibly the first time shown? but she was lovely. She
is by Murky out of Tessa so a strong Thornapple connection there too.
She was the opposite Intermediate in show to Courage.

A niece of hers also won BIS at the Open Show, so a good day for
Thornapple connections!  Amanda

Way to go, Amanda & Gang!  Huge Congrats!

Big News from Brazil!!!!
T Family, Our little 07 months ALBA, out of Kahlua (Ch Thornapple Kahlua N Cream)and
Shamba (Ch Thornapple King Of Diamonds) went to a show this week end. She won Group 1
and was 3rd dog in the Final line of her class ( 3rd BIS in her class of 06 to 09 months old puppies).
Bia showed her in the breed. But in the group she chickened out and asked a handler friend to take Alba in Group.
All judges loved Alba and two of the judges knew Shamba and asked if she was Shamba´s daughter!!!!Wow!!!!!
Also my Ch. Wind Spirit Forecasting Gifts "TOBBY" ( out of Ch.Mill Creek´s Western LegendHy "Colt" and Mill Creeks´Serenity
Sunrise "Sarah") went to Calgary CANADA for a Reginal Agility contest. He was selected together with 3 other Brazilian dogs
and conductors to go to the final in September!!!!!  We are happy!! Beijos, Marcia

News from South Africa!  June 2
Hi All, Sorry they are so late but here goes: I stayed at home this weekend to whelp
puppies (we got our first red boy!!) but Gerhard took 3 of the dogs off to
East London to show!  Ms Neala (Wynonna's "clone") took WB and BOBP at all 3
shows, 1 Reserve BOB and all 3 Puppy groups and 2 Reserve Best Puppy in
Shows!!!  Ziggy (Th. Latest Trend Grandson) took WD and Reserve BOB at one
of the shows, unfortunately missed his class at the first show and took RWD
at the last show to Neala's brother and Neala's brother took the WD at the
show Ziggy missed ... so Ziggy needs 1 point ticket to be made up!!  Frost
(Dollar's son) took Reserve BOB at the other show to his brother who took
all 3 BOB's and 3 Group 2's! Quite a successful weekend all in all.
Great to hear all the good news around the world and the Thornapple family
are doing so well throughout the world!!
We have Nationals this weekend, so will let you know how it goes!
Thanks for letting me share! Take care, Natasha
