Sasin Simply Reckless

Maria won her dog showmanship class and also won top showman in the dog barn.
That put her in the competition for the top overall showman of the fair. She also was voted in on the
junior fair board. Maria participated in the Fair Showman of Showmen today. I am very proud of her!!!
She won second with the horses, first in the Dairy goats, second in rabbits, third in pigs, third in beef cattle,
fourth in diary cattle, fifth in chickens, and fourth in sheep. She ended up second overall for the whole competition.
Not bad for a girl who shows dogs and has never worked with any large livestock. . She looked very good showing all these
animals. Several of the judges commented on her skill in showing the animals. Debbie --- Congratulations, Maria!

Maria's old 4-H advisor gave these pictures to me at the fair this year.
This was taken 6 years ago. Maria's second year in 4-H showing rabbits.

It was a bittersweet weekend with awesome wins but at the same time,
sadness for Amy, Shayna & Austen who were called home on Friday by their family.

over 80 competitors at the Ohio State Fair Dog Show!!! Way to go, Maria!

From Anna-Lena in Sweden ....
Glidden (Thornapple Paint The Town) was shown at two working dog shows this weekend (shown by a friend of us).
The first day he won BOB and BEST IN SHOW!!!!!!!!! The second day he was BOB.
Our Glidden and Enyas puppies where shown for the first time.
On Saturday our blue dog with full tail was second Best in Show-Puppy.
And on Sunday our blue bitch with short tail was fourth Best in Show-Puppy.
Damon became group 2 this weekend. Hugs, Anna-Lena
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

We enjoyed an awesome weekend too!
