The puppies are now four days old! They are all so precious, it's hard to tear yourself away from the whelping box
and actually get any chores done. They are growing by leaps and bounds!! Amazing - they are already up on their fronts,
pulling themselves along the baby quilt. When nursing, they are trying out their rear legs and standing up, down, up, down!
Here are some fun facts this first Sunday of life: MOST BOISTEROUS: Elle - oh my goodness, it's HER way or no way! (Zoë #2!!)
MOST MOOSE-EST: Zane and Nino - hee hee, these two think they're ready to play football!
MOST SWEETEST: Ok, a big tie here: Lauren, Nino, Tristan and Wyatt - they're the "non-complainers" and are happy to be held, snuggled and kissed!
MOST ACTIVE: Tristan and Claire - I think they are having baby races - both have already tried "climb" over Mom and escape the whelping box!!
And, just to let you all know, I am VERY pleased with beautiful, square heads, nice bone, NICE angles, and of course - they are ALL correctly marked.
(This is a big deal to me, I am a color nut - well among other things, too!) Misty is eating Nutro Natural Choice Puppy - free choice,
as well as three meals of the same kibble, mixed with hard boiled egg, cottage cheese (4%), plain yogurt, raw honey and Nutro vitamins.
The litter will be registered for the 2007 USASA Futurity - I think that is kind of mandatory, since these babies parents are the producers of the
BOB and BOS 2006 Futurity Winners!!
And .... an update at 1 week! Hard to believe the first week of life has passed so quickly! For those of
