JULY 2007 WINDS DOWN

BIG NEWS FROM BITTA IN DENMARK! -- Danish CH Thornapple Cuba Blue
Super NEWS from Cuba -- He is now a DANISH CHAMPION! This weekend, Cuba and I went to
a 3 day Club Show. The 27th of July he became Best Of Breed with CC and BEST IN SHOW 2!!!
(Breed Judge Natalja Nekrosiene, Lithaun and BIS Judge, Liliane De Ridder-Onghena, Belgium)
The 28th of July he became BOS with CC (Breed Judge Liliane De Ridder-Onghena, Belgium).
The 29th of July 3rd Best Male with CC (breed judge Elizabet Watt, New Zealand)
He was the best placed male that weekend and he won over many really good champions!

Jose has been awarded the AKC title of Canine Good Citizen in Ohio!
Jose makes frequent visits to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio,
with Bonnie & Dick. He is required to earn the title CGC to do his Hospice work. Jose
brings joy and happiness to his patients ... and is spoiled and loved by the nurses!
Jose has lots of fans who look forward to his visits.

How are you doing? I just feel I have to share it with you. I have two litters of my boy Skipper who is a
grandson of Mia and Reno (pictured left). I am seeing a lot of Reno in my Skipper, but you have to see some of
Skipper's kids. I am attaching you pictures of one of his girls that every time when I am watching her I am seeing the
pictures of Reno when he was a puppy ... take a look at these pictures and let me know if you agree with me about Reno's

Austen's best bud!

Shayna & Austen just have to brag! Their cousin, Zac Cain, record setting
swimmer for the Howell Swim Team, spent his summer training at U of M
with swimmer Michael Phelps, winner of 6 gold medals and 2 bronze in the
2004 Olympics! Zac is pictured with Phelps who is signing autographs.

Just wanted to send you a couple of pics of the boys and their ribbons.
We had a rally show this weekend and they both got their 3rd leg and Novice
title on Saturday. I moved them up to Advanced for Sunday. Player got
2nd place with 94 points and Captain got 4th place with 89 points.
Both did wonderful off lead! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Sally

We have been away for a weekend dog show! We showed Damon Cacib BOB, BIG and BIS-5!!!!
Enya Cacib, BOS, Lucy CC 2nd Best Bitch (Congratulations to Lucy's owner, Marie Samuelson, of Sweden)
& Janis 3rd Best Bitch! For fun, I counted Damon's wins. He has 53 Best Of Breed wins, 28 Group 1 wins,
11 Group 2s, 1 Group 3, 1 Group 4 and 1 Group 5. He has 5 Best In Shows (including one at a Working Dog Show),
7 Best In Show-2, 5 Best In Show-3, 1 Best In Show-4 and 2 Best In Show-5! JUST TOO FANTASTIC!!!
I wonder if there is any dog in Europe with 28 Group 1 wins??!!! Hugs'n Love A-L
