I hope
this weekend has been very good. Here in Sweden it´s raining all the
time and it´s so boring..
I think AL
already told you that Lucy and I went to a dog show this weekend. It
was a lot of Thornapple
aussies entered. My little beautiful girl became BOB and got CC and
CACIB.. I`m SO PROUD OF HER !!!!!!
She did very well in the ring and the judge Jaana Hartus LOVED her.
Here in Sweden we always get a paper
where the judge write down what she think of the dog. This is what
she wrote about Lucy : " Very attractive
small bitch with excellent proportions, bones and body, nice head,
excellent topline, excellent movements, good coat "
I´m so glad
that she did that well at our last show for this year !!!! THANK YOU
for my little beautiful girl !!

We had a wonderful Saturday at the SSASC show in Ocala Florida! The
weather was gorgeous with crystal clear skies and temps in the low 70s.
It was wonderful to see everyone. At the Saturday morning show, Thornapple
Mercury Thunder Cloud "Boomer" went Best of Opposite Sex Puppy under Judge Peggy
Hauck. It was Boomer's first show; his litter sister (Annie) took a second place in
her 2-4 month class with her new Mom handling for the first time in
conformation. Riot (Ch. Thornapple Causin' An Uproar) went Winners Dog
in both the morning and evening shows. He is very pleased with his

CH Thornapple Causin' A Commotion "Riot"
AND AMI TELLS US *** Riot also went to the Sunshine State ASC show with us
and he won both times, Winners Dog - Altered. He LOVES to show, and especially in ASCA
since they give toys with the ribbons. Riot LOVES his toys.
ALSO Annie (Thornapple Mercury Irish Lass) - Red Bitch (Jake x Chante) took a second in her
2-4 month Puppy Bitch class. Her mom (Michele King) who is very big into performance tried her hand
with Annie in the show ring! It looks like they are hooked also, Annie did well (for a wiggly 11 weeks old puppy!)

We camped in the Johnny Appleseed campground for the 5 day circuit. We were surrounded by ancient
oak trees loaded with giant acorns. All night long acorns hit our travel trailer with great fury as we
slept. Vikki told the kids the squirrels have acorn tossing contests at night! We celebrated Carolyn Zernick
& Bill Burn's birthdays with a wonderful bon fire and a huge crock pot of Amy's yummy chili!

I thought you might like to know what Kirby is
up to. Kirby goes to work with me every day.
He ferries documents from one office to the other just for fun. He has a
little bag that
I made for him and I can put a document in it and he will take it to
whomever I say.
He obeys every command without a fuss and without fail. He knows a considerable
number of commands. I have used him to help friends with unruly dogs. After
they are
around him for a few days, they begin to develop better habits and manners. His
favorite
toy is a large stuffed ball and his favorite treat is Frosty Paws. He is a very
happy dog
and he loves to play all day long. He instantly bonds with all children and he
is protective
of them when strangers show up. He is an excellent travel companion. He goes
with me
nearly everywhere. He is very athletic, jumping fences without trouble down on
my farm.
He loves to be chased by other dogs whom he outmaneuvers with ease. No dog is
faster, so far.
He is a great pal. I will never have a dog that is not an Aussie, preferably
a Thornapple Aussie.
